Unlawful Imprisonment Investigation in Carter County

(Ashland, Ky) - The Kentucky State Police in Ashland is looking for a White Male, described to be in his 30's, and a thin build. He is described as having very short blondish/brown, crew cut hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a jean jacket, dark pants, biker boots, and a chain wallet. The white male suspect has a snake tattoo on his right arm, and was last seen in possession of a handgun.
The Kentucky State Police in Ashland received a call this morning from of an individual reporting that he was car-jacked in Pennsylvania on Thursday October 23rd by the previously described suspect. The reporter stated that the vehicle they were in began to run out of gasoline in the Olive Hill area in Carter County, and the suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The victim was then able to contact police and report the crime. The Kentucky State Police has confirmed that the victim reporting the crime was entered as a missing person from the state of Pennsylvania and are in contact with the Pennsylvania authorities.
A search for the suspect is currently underway, as well as the continuing investigation. If anyone sees a person matching this description, please contact the Kentucky State Police (606)928-6421, or 911. Do not approach this individual, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
