Gattiland Stores & KSP Post 12 Frankfort Helping Children this Holiday Season
Date of News Release: 11/18/2008
Kentucky State Police (Post 12 Frankfort) - Two Mr. Gatti's Family Fun Centers in Louisville KY, are working with the Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort to distribute toys to needy families this Holiday Season. The participating Mr. Gatti's are located at 1108 Lyndon Lane and 4200 Outer Loop. They are accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys in their original packaging as part of their Kids-4-Kids Toy Drive that ends Dec. 15, 2008.
Mike Daleo, Mr. Gatti's district manager, said the toy drive is all about "kids helping kids."
We are promoting the holiday spirit by asking our young customers to think about those less fortunate during the Holiday Season. Rather than adults simply donating money or toys, we suggest that parents and mentors of area kids encourage the kids themselves to select a toy and purchase it to give to a needy child. We hope that the child feels that the warmth of sharing supersedes their sacrifice. In return, Gattiland will reward the kids that donating toys with a free kids buffet that day.
Last year the two Mr. Gatti's restaurants donated several boxes of toys to the Kentucky State Police Post in Frankfort. The toys were distributed to needy children by members of the Kentucky State Police.
