Shelby County Murder Investigation

(Frankfort, Ky) - On Monday, November 10, 2008, at 11:26 AM the Shelby County Sherriff's Office received a call of an unresponsive male person at 5300 Rockbridge Rd in Shelby Co. The Shelby Co. S.O arrived and called Kentucky State Police Post 12.

Kentucky State Police arrived a started conducting a Murder Investigation. The victim is James (Jim) Duckett Jr., age 43, W/M of Shelby County. The victim truck is missing from his residence and KSP is asking anyone with information about this crime or the victim pickup truck to contact Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort at 502-227-2221 and ask for Det. Mitch Harris or your local Law Enforcement agency.

The truck is described as a 2004, 4 door Dodge Ram pickup, gray in color with temporary tag number 5311587. The truck has chrome wheels, chrome grill and chrome above the wheel wells.

The investigation is continuing. Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort is being assisted by Shelby County Sherriff's Office, Shelby County Coroner Office, KSP Lab, KSP AFIS Section and the Louisville State Medical Examiner Office.
