Day Two Post 12 Fall Harvest Drug Arrests

(Frankfort, Ky) - On Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 6:00 AM, the second day of Fall Harvest began. Kentucky State Police, Kentucky State Police Special Operation and the Franklin Co. Sheriff's Office gathered at the Frankfort Post.
Today we have 57 additional warrants on 28 new individuals in Franklin, Anderson, Woodford, Scott and Fayette counties. These arrests are the result of undercover drug buys in the Post 12 area for trafficking in marijuana, cocaine and prescription pills. Most of the arrests involved trafficking in lortab, morphine, oxycontin, xanax and hydrocodone.
Post 12 Commander Captain Mike Crawford commented" with this second day of drug related arrests, the Kentucky State Police reaffirms to the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky our commitment to the ongoing efforts to combat the drug issues that plague our communities".
Today drug roundup arrest is similar to yesterday's arrest. We are making additional arrest when Officers locate drugs, drug paraphernalia. Officers are also finding persons with outstanding warrants.
Yesterday Kentucky State Police with the help of local law enforcement arrested 15 suspects on 21 charges in Spencer and Shelby Counties. The total people arrested during operation Fall Harvest for the two-day period will net 48 suspects being arrested on 68 charges.
KSP continue looking for suspects in Shelby, Jefferson, Anderson, Scott, Franklin and Fayette counties. (32 of the 48 drug suspects have been arrested)

The Franklin County Detention Center assisted by transporting Franklin and Anderson arrested suspects to the Franklin County Jail.
