Arrest Made in the Robbery Investigation in Franklin County

(Frankfort, KY) -Through this investigation and the help of the community Earl Wright has been charged with Robbery 1st, Burglary 1st and Impersonating a Peace Officer. This investigation is continuing.

Date of News Release: 04/03/2008
(Frankfort, KY) - On April 2, 2008 at around 4:15 p.m. John Wilson and his two grandchildren (8 and 10 years old) were at his grand children's home on Camp Pleasant Road in Franklin County when a white male walked into the residence. The male subject identified himself as a detective and said he had some papers for Wilson's son and his wife. A few minutes later the white male opened the door of the residence and a second perpetrator entered. Both men were armed with firearms. They took several guns and money from the residence and they left in a newer model white Mercury Marquis.
