Death Investigation in Clay County
Date of News Release: 12/28/2008
(London, KY) -On Saturday December 27, 2008 at approximately 1:04 PM EDT the Kentucky State Police Post 11 in London received a report of burned vehicle, with a human body inside, in the Red Bird area of Clay County.
Upon arrival KSP Detective Mike Bowling discovered a burned truck with a human body inside.
Details of the incident are limited at this time.
Positive identification of the person is pending the results of an autopsy.

Detective Bowling is in charge of the investigation and was assisted at the scene by officers from the Kentucky State Police and Doctor Emily Craig from the State Medical Examiner's Office.
