Theft Arrest in Laurel County
Date of News Release: 02/11/2008
(London, KY) - On Monday February 11, 2008 at approximately 3:53 AM, Kentucky State Police Sergeant Steve Walker conducted a traffic stop, on a 1997 Chevrolet pick-up truck, on Pennington Drive in the East Bernstadt community of Laurel County. During the traffic stop Sergeant Walker discovered a total of ten, ten foot sections of highway guardrail. An investigation into the origin of guardrail discovered they were stolen from Long Branch Road in southern Rockcastle County. Occupants Justin Nolen, 23 and Dylan Eversole, 21 both of East Bernstadt were arrested and lodged in the Rockcastle County Detention Center. Sgt. Walker is continuing the investigation and was assisted by Laurel County Sheriffs Department Officers Sergeant Daryl Zanet and Sergeant Jerry Jones.
