Fatal Collision on US 460 in Magoffin County

Date of News Release: 11/13/2007

(Pikeville, KY) - Vickie Williamson was driving a black 2006 Ford F-150 and was traveling westbound on US 460 and crossed the center line striking Sandra Conley's red 1997 Mitsubishi Montero, head on in a curve. The impact of the collision pushed Ms. Conley's vehicle backward over a hill causing the vehicle to overturn. Hazel M. Beals (passengar), was pronounced dead at the scene by Magoffin County Coroner Ryan Parker. An autopsy will be performed. Vickie Williamson of Salyersville, was transported to the hospital. Sandra Conley & Samuel Conley were transported to Cabell-Huntington Hospital where they are listed in critical condition.

Trooper Maynard was assisted at the scene by Magoffin County Fire and Rescue, DHP Ambulance Service and Magoffin County Coroner's Office.
