Kidnapping Arrest Update in Johnson County

Date of News Release: 01/30/2007

(Pikeville, KY) - On January 30, 2007 at 2:00 pm Charles Lemaster was arrested at a residence in the Leander community of Johnson County after receiving anonymous tips from the community. Lemaster is being charged in connection with the January 29, 2007 kidnapping of his wife, Nancy Lemaster. Lemaster is lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center charged with Kidnapping, Assault 2nd degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 1st degree, Burglary 1st degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st degree (3 counts), Violation of EPO/DVO, Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon. He is also charged with Assault and Unlawful Imprisonment in relation to a prior incident in Lawrence County.
