Falmouth Police Department Officer Involved Shooting

(Dry Ridge, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 6 are currently investigating an officer involved shooting in Falmouth, Ky. On 01-15-2007 at approximately 4:15 AM, Falmouth Police Officer Brian Locknane responded to a domestic disturbance on S. Liberty Street in the limits of Falmouth. During his investigation of the situation at the residence, Albert Teague a 44, year old white male brandished a rifle at Officer Locknane. Officer Locknane responded by firing his duty weapon one time, striking Teague in the chest. Teague was taken to University of Cincinnati Hospital where he is currently in intensive care listed in critical but stable condition.
Officer Locknane (33) a six-year veteran of the Falmouth Police Department was not injured and has been placed on administrative duty with pay.
The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detectives Chris Jaskowiak and Jeremy Murrell. The Pendleton County Sheriff's Department also assisted investigators.
