Follow-Up From Arrest in Post 5 Area

(Campbellsburg, KY)- There has been a second arrest and a third person has been issued a summons to appear in court. The original suspect, Derek Music, age 19, from Louisville, Ky, was charged and served with warrants, from Henry and Trimble Counties. Music is in the Oldham County Jail, where he was lodged by the Oldham County authorities. Tpr. Jason Brown worked tirelessly with the Oldham County Police, as well as the Louisville Metro Police, in solving these burglaries. Music and an unidentified female were arrested in Dearborn County, Indiana, and evidence was located that implicated them in the church burglaries. The female has not been charged in the local burglaries, however the investigation is still ongoing. The 2nd suspect charged, turned himself in to KSP, on January 21st, 2007, at approx. 10:20 pm, at Post-5, Campbellsburg. Tpr. Rick Ellis served the warrants on Trent M. Carr, age 20, from Crestwood, Ky. He was lodged in the Carroll County Regional Detention Center. An unidentified male, age 20, from PeeWee Valley, Ky, has been issued a summons to appear, due to his cooperation in this investigation. There may be further charges pending and other suspects interviewed, as this is still an open investigation.
