Criminal Investigation and Arrest in Hart County

Date of News Release: 11/10/2007

(Bowling Green, KY) - Kentucky State Police responded to a suspicious person complaint on US 31W in Bonnieville. Upon Trooper Biven's arrival, Christopher S. Calvert had left to leave the scene in a vehicle. Trooper Biven was given the description of the vehicle and stopped it on probable cause. Mr. Calvert was taken into custody without incident. Mr. Calvert was charged with: Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Meth Enhanced, Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, D.U.I 2nd, No Seatbelt, Failure to Maintain Req Insurance, No Registration Plate, No Registration Receipt, Obstructed Vision Windshield. He was lodged into the Hart County Jail.
