Criminal Arrest on KY 90 in Barren County

Date of News Release: 11/08/2007

(Bowling Green, KY) - Unit observed Raymond Salinas walking on KY 90 approximately 5 miles east of Cave City. Officer felt Raymond Salinas was a stranded motorist and was seeking aid. Raymond Salinas appeared nervous and was giving inconsistent statements. Raymond Salinas produced an Arkansas identification card which appeared to be fraudulent. Raymond Salinas was suspected of giving a false name to Officer. Raymond Salinas was arrested and transported to the Barren County Jail and charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument. Upon fingerprinting Raymond Salinas on the automated fingerprint id system it was determined that his true identification was Raymond Salinas. Raymond Salinas was wanted by the Chicago FBI Office for Dangerous Drugs and also had narcotics charges out of Jefferson County. Raymond Salinas had other charges related to probation violation from Green County. Raymond Salinas was arrested on above charges and lodged in the Barren County Jail.
