Update to Bus Crash on I-65 in Simpson County

Date of News Release: 07/09/2007

(Bowling Green, KY) - After EMS responded it was determined that there were no injuries requiring transportation to the hospital. The children were transported by bus and Warren County DES vehicles to Living Hope Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY. The bus used to transport the children was donated by Western KY University. Another bus from Smyrna TN is en-route to continue the children on their trip.

(Bowling Green, KY) - KSP Bowling Green is working a bus, tractor trailer and passenger car accident with injuries at the 13 mile-marker I-65 northbound. The road is closed at this time. The tractor trailer is hauling rolls of paper. The bus was coming from Smyrna, TN and en route to Lexington, KY. The passengers on the bus are children ranging in age from 8 to early teens.
