Injury Crash on Mounty Union Road

Date of News Release: 06/22/2007

(Bowling Green) - Jose Agustin was traveling north on Mount Union Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the roadway across a driveway at 7300 Mount Union Rd and began to overturn. The vehicle continued into a field, overturning several times and ejecting the three occupants. Jose Agustin and front seat passenger (Francisco Hernandez) were flown via helicopter to Vanderbilt Hospital. The rear passenger (Efrin Romero Nopal) was transported via EMS to The Medical Center in Scottsville for non-life threatening injuries. Both Jose Agustin and Francisco Hernandez were admitted to Vanderbilt Hospital and listed in critical condition. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
