Injury Crash on I-65 in Warren County

Date of News Release: 04/23/2007

(Bowling Green) - Lacey Wright and Jeffrey Forbes were both southbound on I-65 at the 15 mile marker. Ms. Wright's vehicle struck Mr. Forbes' vehicle in the rear. After impact Ms. Wright's vehicle spun across both lanes of southbound traffic into the median and also crossed over both lanes of northbound traffic. Ms. Wright's vehicle exited the roadway on the east side and came to final rest against a tree. Mr. Forbes' vehicle came to final rest approximately 96 feet south of the point of impact in the southbound emergency strip. Both Lacey Wright and Mark Niblett (passenger) were transported to the Medical Center at Bowling Green via EMS. Jeffrey Forbes was not injured.
