Injury Crash on US 31W in Warren County

Date of News Release: 02/16/2007

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - Sharon Wilson´s vehicle was stationary on Gutherie Street at the intersection of US 31W. Antonio Rice´s vehicle approached the intersection of Gutherie Street traveling northbound on US 31W. Chief Ricky Sanders´ vehicle was stationary in a private drive located off the right shoulder of US 31W. Sharon Wilson´s vehicle entered US 31W from Gutherie Street attempting to make a right hand turn onto US 31W. Sharon Wilson´s vehicle crossed the yellow center line of US 31W striking Antonio Rice´s vehicle. Antonio Rice´s vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway striking the rear of Chief Ricky Sanders´ vehicle. Antonio Rice´s vehicle and Chief Ricky Sanders´ vehicle came to final rest in the private drive. Chief Ricky Sanders was transported to Caverna Memorial Hospital and will be admitted. Antonio Rice was transported to TJ Samson Hospital and was treated and released. Sharon Wilson was not injured.
