Injury Crash on US 45 in Graves County

Date of News Release: 12/27/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - Christal Grubbs was operating a 2004 Nissan Altima traveling east on KY 408. Mrs. Grubbs was attempting to cross the northbound lanes of US 45, when she pulled into the path of a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am being operated by Mart Rambo striking it in the front driver's side door. Mrs. Grubbs vehicle came to final rest on the shoulder of the roadway and Mr. Rambo's vehicle came to final rest at the bottom of an embankment. Mrs. Grubbs was transported to Lourdes Hospital by private vehicle for observation. Trooper Joe Gregory was assisted by Kentucky State Police Sergeant William Lockwood, West Viola Fire Department, and the Mayfield/Graves County Ambulance Service.
