Vehicle Theft Investigation in Lyon County

Date of News Release: 12/01/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - Between Monday, November 26th 2007 and early Saturday, December 01, 2007, persons unknown stole a black dual-axle trailer loaded with two Yamaha ATV's from a residence on Oriole Drive, Eddyville, Kentucky. The trailer had been parked beneath, and chained to, an open sided car port. The two Yamaha ATV's, one red 2004 Big Bear and a 2006 Rhino blue and silver in color, were atop the trailer. Someone backed a vehicle up to the trailer and stole the entire unit from the front yard of a summer residence. The trailer was regsitered in Florida, with tag number X37QJA. Anyone with information related to this theft are urged to contact the Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state).

  1. Two-axle 2004 Brewer car trailer, black, right side railing cut so as to be removable by removing bolts, Florida tag X37QJA, AV$1000.00
  2. 2004 Yamaha Big Bear ATV faded red, two bumper stickers "eat my dirt" AV$5000.00
  3. 2006 Yamaha Rhino SE blue with silver pin striping and silver top, add-on center glove box console, model YXR66FASEV, AV$11000.00
  4. Two ride-up ramps, AV$200.00
  5. Log chain, AV$50.00
