Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree Arrest in Carlisle County

Date of News Release: 11/15/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - On 11-15-2007 while on routine patrol, Trooper Clint Davis clocked a vehicle at 90-MPH traveling South on KY. 121 in Carlisle County. Trooper Davis stopped the vehicle and cited the driver, Michael S. Allison, 22 of Clinton, for Speeding and No Seat Belt in Use. An additional investigation by Trooper Davis revealed drugs found in Allison's vehicle. Trooper Davis located 5 plastic bags containing approximately 16 grams of suspected methamphetamine in a cigarette box and approximately 4 grams of marijuana in a candy container. The methamphetamine has a street value of approximately $1500.00. In addition to the two traffic charges, Allison was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense-Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana. He was lodged in the Hickman County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Davis.
