Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 3rd Degree Investigation and Arrest

(Mayfield, KY) - On 10/12/07 Kentucky State Police Detective Dean Patterson received a complaint from the parents of a sixteen-year-old female. The parents believed that their daughter may have been involved in an inappropriate relationship with a teacher at Marshall County High School. As a result of an investigation into the complaint, Detective Patterson obtained an arrest warrant for Michael F. Colvett age 37 of Benton. On 10/15/07 Kentucky State Police arrested Mr. Colvett charging him with Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 3rd degree. Mr. Colvett was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center. The investigation continues by Detective Patterson.
