Injury Collision on KY 464 in Calloway County

Date of News Release: 09/22/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - Jacob T. Adkins was eastbound on KY 464, when for unknown reasons the driver lost control of the vehicle in a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned multiple times, coming to rest in the upright position. Mr. Adkins was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by rescue personnel. Mr. Adkins was transported and admitted to Murray/ Calloway County Hospital for injuries sustained. Kentucky State Police Tpr Duvall and Tpr Boyd were assisted on scene by Murray Fire Dept, Calloway Fire/Rescue, and Murray/Calloway EMS. Investigation is continuing by Tpr Brian Duvall.
