Injury Crash on KY 121 in Calloway County

Date of News Release: 08/02/2007

(Calloway County) - Shanna Parrish was traveling South on KY. 121 when she ran off the right side of the roadway. She traveled through a yard where she struck and severed a gas main. She then traveled another 75 feet before striking a tree and coming to rest in a ditch. Traffic was stopped while the Murray Public Works Department responded to the scene and turned the gas off. Parrish was transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital and treated for minor injuries. The Calloway County Sheriff's Department, Murray Fire Department, Calloway County EMS and the Murray Public Works Department assisted state police at the scene. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Mark Sallin.
