Injury Crash on 6th Street in Mayfield, KY

Date of News Release: 06/16/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - Wanda K. Riley was traveling eastbound on South Street approaching the intersection of 6th Street. Michael Gills was northbound on 6th Street with emergency equipment activated. Michael Gills slowed for the intersection and then proceeded through. Michael Gills was struck on the drivers side by Wanda K. Riley. Wanda K. Riley and passenger (Vickie Gamble) were transported by Mayfield Graves County Ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center. Michael Gills was transported by Mayfield Police Department to Jackson Purchase Medical Center. Trooper Clifton was assisted at the scene by the Mayfield Police Department, Mayfield/Graves County EMS, and Deputy Ben Natividad of the Graves County Sheriff's Office.
