Injury Crash on KY 80 in Calloway County

Date of News Release: 06/16/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - William L. Green was traveling eastbound on KY 80 and left the right shoulder of the roadway striking a guard rail. The vehicle then overturned several times before coming to final rest teetering on a culvert. The driver William L. Green, of Princeton, was restrained but received severe head injuries. He was later airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Mr. Green was also Charged with Driving under the influence of Alcohol 1st degree and failure to produce Insurance. Trooper Bowman was assisted by Calloway County Sheriffs Department, Calloway County Fire and Rescue, Murray-Calloway County EMS and Murray Fire Department.
