Fatal Crash on KY 129 in Hickman County

Date of News Release: 06/07/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - Danielle G. Cathey was traveling east on KY 129, when the operator attempted to pass and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the north side of the roadway striking a tree on the passenger side. Danielle G. Cathey was ejected out of the passenger side window. The vehicle continued off the roadway striking another tree and fence before coming to final rest. Danielle G. Cathey was pronounced deceased on the scene by Hickman County Coroner Paula Boaz. Trooper Thomas was assisted on the scene by Sgt. Joey Adams, Trooper Thomas Clifton, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Twin Cities Ambulance Service, Fulton County Fire and Rescue, and Obion County Rescue Squad.
