Injury Crash on Dodd Road in Calloway County

Date of News Release: 05/15/2007

(Mayfield, KY.) - Jessie R. Barton was traveling East on Dodd Road, slowing to make a left turn in to a driveway. Kevin Sargent was traveling West on Dodd Road. Mr. Barton failed to see Mr. Sargent approaching and pulled into his path of travel. Mr. Sargent, who was not wearing a motorcycle helmet, was transported to Murray/Calloway Co. Hospital and treated for multiple injuries. Mr. Barton was not injured. The Calloway Co. Sheriff's Dept. and EMS assisted state police at the scene. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Trent Weaver.
