Injury Crash on KY 139 in Trigg County

Date of News Release: 05/12/2007

(Mayfield, KY.) - Brian Wiegand was northbound on Ky 139 with the right away. Michael R. Hamilton was westbound on KY 272 stopped at a stop sign. Michael R. Hamilton thought it was a 4-way stop sign at the intersection and proceeded across KY 139 on Ky 272. Brian Wiegand attempted to avoid a collision but was unable to avoid Michael R. Hamilton and struck Michael R. Hamilton in the driver's door. All occupants (Felicia Whittaker, Jessica Keenan Brandi Cordero) and drivers (Michael R. Hamilton & Brian Wiegand) were transported to Trigg Co Hospital. KSP assisted by Trigg Co Sheriff Office, Trigg Co Rescue Squad and Trigg Co EMS.
