Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Investigation & Arrest

(Mayfield, KY.) - On May 8, 2007 at approximately 1211 hours, Kentucky State Police Trooper Barry Rice investigated a report of drug activity at a residence on KY 166 in Fulton. During the search of the residence, Fulton City Police Department K-9 indicated the area where the suspected illegal substance was located. The search revealed six small clear bags of a substance believed to be methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia items. Mr. Daniel T. Lusk was arrested and lodged in Fulton County Detention Center and charged with Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st (methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Trooper Rice was assisted by the Fulton County Detention Center and the Fulton City Police Department K-9.
