Fugitive From Another State Investigation & Arrest

Date of News Release: 05/09/2007

(Mayfield, KY.) - Kentucky State Police Mayfield received information that David M Rhodes (fugitive) had traveled from Ashland Kentucky and was now located in Paducah. After surveillance by Post 1 units the vehicle that Mr. Rhodes was supposed to be driving was located at Hovecamp Road. Units made contact with Mr. Rhodes and he was arrested and charged with Fugitive from Justice from Jackson County, West Virginia. The original charge was Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He was also charged with Fugitive from Justice from Belmont County, Ohio where the original charge was failure to appear for contributing to the delinquency of a minor child. Assisting in the investigation was Kentucky State Police Ashland Post, Belmont County Ohio, and West Virginia State Police.
