Injury Crash on KY 121 in Graves County

Date of News Release: 04/17/2007

(Mayfield, KY.) - Jeremy Stimson was traveling North on KY. 121 and was attempting to turn right into the high school. Melinda Lahman, a bus driver for the Graves County Schools, was stopped on Eagles Way waiting to turn South on KY. 121. Stimson failed to negotiate the turn properly and struck the left front corner of the school bus. Stimson and two passengers in his car, Matt Morris and Christopher Boyett, were transported by ambulance to the Jackson Purchase Medical Center and treated. Lahman received a neck injury and was transported by private vehicle to Jackson Purchase Medical Center. The Mayfield Police Department and Graves County School Resource Office Cavin assisted state police at the scene. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Thomas Clifton.
