Injury Crash and Arrest in Trigg County
Date of News Release: 04/17/2007
(Mayfield, KY.) - On 4-16-07 at 6:40PM, Trooper Richard Wright was dispatched to a single vehicle collision 2 miles North of Cadiz on Will Jackson Road. The operator of the vehicle, Linda D. McIntyre was traveling North on Will Jackson when she lost control and hit an embankment. When Trooper Wright arrived at the scene, McIntyre had fled the scene on foot. She was found hiding in the woods a short distance from the scene. She was arrested at the scene by Trooper Wright and then transported by Trigg EMS to the Trigg County Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries. McIntyre was charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st degree (cocaine), Failure to Wear Seatbelt, DUI 1st. Expired Registration Plates, No Insurance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree. She was lodged in the Trigg County Jail. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Richard Wright.
