Injury Crash on US 68 in Trigg County

Date of News Release: 04/11/2007

(Mayfield, KY) - Ms. Kaytlin M Young was westbound on US 68 when she crossed the centerline due to poor visibility and weather and struck Mrs. Brenda P Byron's vehicle. Ms. Young's vehicle traveled across the eastbound lane of 68 and overturned coming to final rest on the eastbound shoulder. Ms. Byron's vehicle overturned also coming to final rest on the eastbound shoulder. All three parties (Kaytlin M Young, Courtney B Futrell and Brenda P Byron) involved were transported by Trigg County EMS to Trigg County Hospital for multiple injuries. Trooper Wright was assisted on the scene by the Trigg County Sheriff's Office, Trigg County Rescue, East Golden Pond Fire Department, and the Kentucky Department of Highways.
