March Activity Report From Post 1

The Kentucky State Police Post One Activity Report for the month of March is as follows:

Post One Mayfield covers the 11 counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg. As of March 31, 2007 there have been 16 people killed in fatal collisions in the Post One area. Of those who died, 10 were not wearing a seatbelt. During the same period in 2006, there were 7 people killed in the Post One area. Statewide in 2007 there have been 162 people killed compared to 166 in 2006.
