Injury Crash on KY 121 Bypass in Graves County

Date of News Release: 04/05/2007

(Graves County) - Anne Bruce was crossing KY 121 bypass on KY 464 when she failed to yield the right of way by pulling into the path of Billy Cooper. Billy Cooper attempted to stop but was unsuccessful striking Anne Bruce's vehicle on the driver side. Billy Cooper's vehicle then continued sliding and overturned coming to final rest on the Northbound side of the roadway spilling it's load of lime across the highway. The roadway was closed for approximately 2 1/2 hours while the truck was being uprighted and the road was being cleared. The investigation is continuing by Tpr. Thomas.
