Burglary 1st Degree Arrest in Mayfield, KY

Date of News Release: 02/23/2007

(Mayfield, KY) On February 23, 2007, Tpr. Kyle Nall arrested and charged Derrek Dickson, 18 of Mayfield, and an unnamed Juvenile with several charges including Burglary 1st Degree. These charges were brought against Dickson and Juvenile after Tpr. Nall opened an investigation sparring from a residence that was burglarized on February 18, 2007. Dickson and the Juvenile used force to gain entry into the residence, and then got away from the residence with several items including a shotgun.

Both Dickson and the Juvenile were charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Theft By Unlawful Taking of a Firearm, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, and Theft By Unlawful Taking Under $300. These arrests are just a part of many burglaries in the area that have been solved by the Kentucky State Police and the Graves County Sheriffs Office.
