Injury Crash on State Route 1820 in Graves County

Date of News Release: 02/10/2007

(Graves County) - Sheena Hayden was traveling east on State Route 1820 west of Melber. For undetermined reasons, Ms. Hayden left the left side of the roadway. Ms. Hayden over corrected back to the right causing her vehicle to rotate in a clockwise direction. Hayden's vehicle then began to overturn in the roadway. The Chevy Blazer is believed to have overturned 2 times before coming to final rest in a field on the south side of the highway. Ms. Hayden was wearing her seatbelt during the collision resulting in her having moderate injuries to her head and face. Hayden was transported to Western Baptist Hospital by the Mayfield/Graves Co. EMS. Melber Fire Department also assisted at the scene. The investigation into the collision is continuing by Tpr. Dean Patterson with the Kentucky State Police.
