News Release

Injury Collision on Long Hunters Camp in Green County

Date of News Release: 12/27/07

(Columbia, KY) - Megan Coffey, age 17 of Columbia was operating a 2001 GMC truck west on Long Hunters Camp when she disregarded a stop sign and entered the path of a 2007 Chevrolet being operated by Jackie Perkins Jr., age 39 of Elkhorn. Mr. Perkins was traveling north on KY 61 when Ms. Coffey struck his vehicle in the rear side.

Ms. Coffey and Mr. Perkins were not injured. Two passengers in the Perkins' vehicle, Juanita Janes, age 75 and Joseph Janes, age 46 were both taken to Jane Todd hospital where they were treated & released.
