News Release

Escapee from Marion Adjustment Center Captured

Date of News Release: 06/08/07

(Columbia, KY) - Joseph Blan, who escaped from Marion Adjustment Center on Thursday June 7, 2007, was captured today by Elizabethtown Police Department. He is presently lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.


(Columbia, KY) - Around 5:40 pm on June 7th Kentucky State Police received a report from the Lebanon Police Department about an escapee from Marion Adjustment Center. He was last seen around 1:30 pm. The escapee is Joseph M. Blan wm age 19 5 ft 8 inches tall and weighs 250 lbs, brown eyes and has a shaved head. He is from the Grayson County area and was being held on burglary charges. Sometime around 8 pm Elizabethtown Police Department Officers got into a pursuit of a vehicle believed to have been stolen from Marion County. The driver fled the scene but is believed to be Mr. Blan.
