Injury Crash on Barbers Mill Road in Marion County
Date of News Release: 02/21/07
(Columbia, KY) - Amanda Deering, age 21 of Finley was traveling eastbound on Barbers Mill Road. Ms. Deering lost control of her vehicle in a curve, ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Ms. Deering was not belted. Ms. Deering was treated at Springview Hospital and then transferred to the University of Louisville for multiple injuries. A passenger in the vehicle (Kaylee Leake age 3) also of Finley was admitted to the Springview Hospital in Lebanon. The child was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash was investigated by Trooper John Boyd with the Kentucky State Police in Columbia.
