October Monthly Activity From Post 14

(Ashland, KY) - During the month of Oct 2007, there were 45 motor vehicle collisions investigated by State Police working out of the Ashland Post in the four counties of Boyd, Greenup, Carter, and Lawrence.

During October of 2007 there was 6 fatalities in the Post 14 area, which occurred in Boyd County (2), Lawrence County (1), and Carter County (3) compared to 3 in October 2006, which occurred in Carter County (1) and Boyd County (2) . Statewide fatalities stand at 721 compared to 746 for the same time period in 2006.
