Fugitive Escapee from the Transitions House in Boyd County

(Ashland, KY) - Kentucky State Police is conducting an investigation into the escape of 26 year old Lee West from the Transitions House on 29th Street Ashland, KY on 9-4-07. West escaped from the facility on 9-4-07 and may be headed towards his hometown of Louisville, KY. Investigators also feel West may be in the Ashland area too but there have not been any reports of his whereabouts. West is described as a black male 5'8" 180 lbs with Brown eyes and black hair. He also has several tattoos on his arms and chest. West also wears glasses.

Anyone with information on Mr. West is asked to call the Kentucky State Police at 606-928-6421 or 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state). Callers may remain anonymous.

The investigation is continuing by Trooper Shane Goodall.
