Perry County Murder Investigation
Date of News Release: 10/05/2007
(Hazard, KY) - On 10/05/07 at approximately 3:10 p.m. Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard received a call that an elderly male may possibly be deceased on Peavley Street in the Wabaco community of Perry County.
State Police, Hazard City Police, and the Perry County Coroners Office arrived at the scene to find Kenneth Clay, age 70, was deceased in his residence. Foul play is suspected and a Murder Investigation is being conducted. No arrest has been made at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to call Kentucky Sate Police at (606) 435-6069 or 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state). The investigation is continuing by Det. Clayton Stamper.
