Forgery 2nd Arrest in Anderson County

Date of News Release: 02/21/2007

(Post 12 Frankfort) - Joseph Mason Hood forged the signatures of the Anderson County Circuit Court Judge Charles R. Hickman and the Anderson County Circuit Court Clerk Jan D. Rogers on a decree of dissolution of marriage document. This document was sent to Hood for him to review prior to the court date without the above person's signatures. Hood forged the signatures in an attempt to prove that his divorce was final when it was not. Hood has been charged with Forgery in the second degree, two counts.
