Anderson County Burglary and Arson Investigation

Date of News Release: 01/02/2007

(Frankfort, KY) At 05:06 Hrs Tuesday 01-02-07 a residential structure fire was reported at 4743 Bardstown Road Lawrenceburg, KY. The Anderson County Fire Dept. responded to the scene and found evidence that indicated the residence had been burglarized prior to the fire.

The incident was reported to Kentucky State Police Post 12 for investigation. The investigation determined that the home had been burglarized and the fire set.

Anyone with information regarding this fire is asked to call the Kentucky Arson Hotline at 1-800-27-ARSON. The Kentucky Arson Task Force will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the arsonist. Callers may remain anonymous.
