Update to the Bank Robbery at the Monticello Bank Branch Office in Wayne County

(London, KY) - On Friday 12-14-2007 the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London has identified the suspect in a Wednesday morning bank robbery at the Monticello Banking Company branch in Monticello, KY. The suspect has been identified as William Joe Marlow, 40, of Muncie, IN. Marlow is described as a white male, 5'8" tall, 195 lbs., possibly driving a driving a late 80's or early 90's red Ford, Probe, car. Marlow, also known as Bill or Billy Marlow, is wanted in connection with three bank robberies in Muncie, IN and is suspected in two additional bank robberies in that city. Marlow was identified from the bank surveillance photo that was released on Wednesday. Anyone coming into contact with Marlow is urged to contact the Kentucky State Police or the local law enforcement in their area. Marlow is considered armed and dangerous and may be in the company of a Blonde female in her early 20's. The identity of the person or persons involved with the identification is withheld for their safety. The Kentucky State Police is in charge of the investigation in Monticello and is being assisted by the Monticello Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. An image of the bank robbery suspect, click here to enlarge(London, KY) - On Wednesday December 12, 2007 at approximately 11:05 AM the Kentucky State Police Post 11 London received a report, from the Monticello Police Department, of a Bank Robbery at the Monticello Bank Branch Office in the Tradeway Shopping Center, Monticello, KY. Upon arrival Detective Doug Boyd discovered that a white male entered the bank and demanded money before fleeing on foot. Further details will be forthcoming as the investigation progresses. Detective Boyd is in charge of the investigation.
