Fatal House Fire in Pike County
Date of News Release: 10/31/2006
Pikeville, KY-- On October 31, 2006 at approximately 03:03 AM Kentucky State Police received a call of a residential fire at 69 Yellow Hill Road of Regina, KY.
Marrowbone and Ferrells Creek Fire Department and the Kentucky State Police responded finding the victim, Chris Coleman (36 years of age), had been unable to escape the fire. Foul Play is not suspected. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Deputy Coroner Zeb Hampton. The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Joey Howard and Arson Investigator Don Parker.
