Fatal Crash on KY 28 in Owsley County

Date of News Release: 09/15/2006

(RICHMOND, KY) - Mitchell Green age 20 of Booneville was traveling East on KY 28. Mr. Green's vehicle crossed over the centerline and struck Billy Hensley's vehicle. Mr. Green's vehicle then traveled over an embankment on the right side of the roadway. Mr. Mitchell Green had to be extricated from the vehicle and was flown to UK Medical Center where he later died as a result of his injuries. Mr. Hensley was not injured. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Joe Lucas.
