News Release

Criminal Damage to Water Tanks In Madison County

Date of News Release: 07/19/2006

(RICHMOND, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 7, Richmond, is currently investigating the possible criminal damage to two water tanks owned by Madison County Utilities. The two tanks, one located at College Hill and the other on US 25 south of Richmond, are leaking due to possible gunshot holes. An estimated 300,000 gallons of water will be lost. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state) or 1-859-623-2404. Callers may remain anonymous. The investigation by TFC Chris Crockett continues.
