Fatal Crash on Wagners Ferry Road in Pendleton County

Date of News Release: 06/23/2006

(Pendleton County, KY) - The Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Sunday July 17, 2006 in Pendleton County. Ray C. Beach (48) of Falmouth was operating a blue 1992 Chevrolet around 2:10 am on Wagners Ferry Road, when he lost control of his vehicle in a curve. Beach left the roadway struck a parked car in a private driveway, and then struck a parked farm tractor. Ray Beach was pronounced dead by the Pendleton County Coroner. Beach was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. Alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.

The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Chris Steward.
